The Force is strong with this one.

I recently held a conversation with with one of my friend. We were discussing  our inner soundtrack for life and it hit me today when I was at work. I can have a soundtrack going by master composers. I opened up my Pandora, remembering that I had put a John Williams channel on it. Now Pandora likes to mix things up a bit but the genre or style match for John Williams is "Epic Movie Soundtracks". So I was actually on day 3 of sitting at a desk doing data entry into spreadsheets and for all those who know me this is like nails on a chalkboard. For those who dont know me very well, I am kind of a hands on type of person who cant sit still for very long and yes (SQUIRREL) I do have ADHD. Today was different though, with that channel going on in my head, my day was actually pretty amazing. When you here the action/suspense music from "The Bourne Supremacy" playing your heart starts to beat a little faster, then some fight music from "Lord of the Rings" starts and you find yourself mentally fighting along with it and finish a specific task or at least reach a goal in the work your doing when all of a sudden "The Throne Room" for "Star Wars:A New Hope"chimes in. I gotta say, it adds to your sense of accomplishment. All in all, there was nothing remarkable about my work day but it was amazing. Music really does have an effect on us. I challenge you all to try this and post here about your experience. Reminder: Go to Pandora, in the "New Station" Tab enter the name, John Williams, then set about your day and see what a difference it makes to doing the every day tasks.

Why should we have to deal with this.

You may read this or not but remember, if you stop reading just because of my next statement, that is intolerance. Let me start by saying that I am anti Homosexuality. With that being said, I do have homosexual friends and I like them very much. I am not against the people themselves, I just don't agree with the lifestyle but what person does in their bedroom is their own business. That in itself is my biggest issue with the homosexual community. They put a lot of time, effort and resources into making homosexuality open. Why? I mean really, Why? I don't go around parading my intimate secrets with the world and I don't understand why anyone would want to. Recently, I read an article that the homosexual lobbiests (I think we know how I feel about lobbiests) are fight the Boy Scouts of America to openly allow gay scouts. I'm not being intolerant when I say that this is ludicrous and obscene. To start with, the scouts teach abstinence, which would be A-sexual so why should they accept open homosexuality. Homosexuality is not a race, gender, philosophy, theology or social class. Homosexuality is a choice and its not even a new choice. The Romans were doing it 2000 years ago and Egyptians long before that long with bestiality, insest and pedophilia. These re  bedroom choices and should remain in the bedroom with the exception of laws being broken. There is not, to my knowledge, any law preventing anyone from choosing a homosexual lifestyle but who you choose to sleep with shouldn't be flaunted  in the faces of everyone else. I'm not saying that you have to hide your lifestyle. What I am saying is that you don't have to advertise it. I truly don't care who a person has romantic feelings for, it's none of my business so please, stop treating your sexual preference like it is my business. I apologize if this topic upsets anyone but the over saturation of homosexuality in today's society has started to upset me. Please, feel free to respond here or on Facebook if that's where you read this. I am curious to see what others think and my opinion about things is subject to change based on new information.
